The magnificent mountain temple of Preah Vihear is Cambodia's second UNESCO-World Heritage Site, inscribed just recently, in 2008.
The way to Preah Vihear goes to some deep forests and then through the plain of the Damrek Mountains. The location of the temple is unique. You will be seduced by the great views on the Cambodian plain and by the astonishing bas reliefs on temple gopurams. Some of the reliefs belong to the most beautiful artifacts of khmer art.
