Overnight with locals in silt houses ...
The large Preah Khan Temple in Komopong Svay Province can only be reached in the so called dry season. Due to the leck of roads, this remote temple complex is maybe the last real adventure in Cambodia.
There are still no guesthouses in this area, so we sleep in hammocks under moskito nets with the locals. Get the real Cambodia feeling and go to places where you, as the tourist, will be the attraction - for the locals.

All Cambodians are very proud that the UNESCO comittee inscribed in 2008 the unique Preah Vihear Temple on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
A newly constructed road makes it more easy to explore this temple near the Thai border.
We offer two days trips (in combination with Koh Ker temple area and Along Veng), but even one day trips are possible.

BIRD SANCTUARY "PREK TOAL"

The Tonle Sap Lake is the fresh water area with the highest biodiversity in the world. That's why the UNESCO protects this unique nature as an "UNESCO biosphere reservate".
The best way to explore this large area are certainly boat excursions to the bird sanctuary "Prek Toal" and the flooded forests. Depending on the season, you may observe thousands of birds.
