So please let me introduce myself:
Our khmer family (my wife & me, 2 sons and 1 daughter) owns and runs Ta Som Guesthouse.
We are proud to offer you a traditional khmer guesthouse with experienced staff.
Our history
In 1992, UNESCO declared the temples of Angkor as World Heritage Site.
In 1993, we opened one of the first guesthouses in Siem Reap.
So we are proud to belong to the pioniers of tourism in Siem Reap / Angkor.
In 2008, we celebrate our 15th anniversary.
This is a long period in Cambodia, where the tourism sector is still very young.
Due to a high increase of tourists coming to our guesthouse, we have expanded and renovated Ta Som Guesthouse.
The new opening was in September 2008.
So we are proud to offer you the best service as you know it in a new decorated and warm, charming atmosphere.
Our concept
From the beginning, our concept was to combine a khmer guesthouse as a basis for discoveries in Angkor with tours services.
TA SOM TOUR SERVICES was one of the first agencies to offer organized tours to foreign tourists, long before the mass tourism era began here.
Since these times, our tour programme has developped and expanded a lot.
We are proud to be now the specialist for hidden trails in Angkor region.
